Christmas Message 2023
Greetings as once again we ponder a new the story of Christmas, and reality of a world that needs the story of light and love, more than ever.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: Luke 2:10
In a world filled with strife, uncertainty, and conflict, the approaching Christmas season provides for us a reminder of the enduring message of hope and peace heralded by the birth of Jesus Christ. As the holy lands and many regions across the globe grapple with the harsh realities of war and suffering, the story of Christ's birth resonates as a beacon of light, offering solace and inspiration to those yearning for a better tomorrow.
The Christmas narrative, told through the Gospel of Luke and Matthew, transcends time and place, reaching out to people across diverse cultures and backgrounds. It tells the tale of a humble birth in a stable, witnessed by shepherds and celebrated by angels—a story that speaks to the universality of the human experience and the promise of salvation.
